Hi! This is the privacy policy for Crown & Collision and Impact Forge.

We are a tiny indie game project, and we try to keep data collection boring, minimal, and sensible. We do not want to track you around the internet. We just want to show you the game and, if you ask for it, send you the occasional update.

What We Collect

Right now, the only information we actively collect through the website is your email address if you sign up for the newsletter.

MailerLite may also store technical information connected to the signup, such as the time of signup, consent record, IP address, and the form used. This helps keep the mailing list working properly and gives us proof that you asked to join.

If you email us directly, we will also receive whatever information you choose to send in that email.

Why We Collect It

We use your email address to send occasional updates about Crown & Collision.

That may include development updates, playtest news, release announcements, discounts, and related marketing. We do not want to spam you, and the plan is to send updates every now and then, not constantly.

Legal Basis

For the newsletter, we rely on your consent. You give that consent when you sign up and agree to receive updates.

You can withdraw that consent whenever you like by unsubscribing from the newsletter or contacting us.

Newsletter Provider

We use MailerLite to manage newsletter signups and send emails.

Website Hosting

This website is hosted by statichost.eu, a static hosting provider based in Europe.

According to statichost.eu, they process visitor IP addresses only as needed to serve the website and do not store visitor personal data in server logs.

Cookies And Third-Party Services

At the moment, we do not use analytics or advertising cookies ourselves.

The newsletter form is provided by MailerLite and may use cookies or local storage needed for form behavior, such as remembering form state or submission status.

The site may also include embedded content, such as YouTube videos. Embedded content can behave as if you visited that third-party service directly, which means YouTube/Google may receive technical information when the video loads or plays.

If we add analytics or tracking cookies later, we will add a consent option first and update this policy.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we clean up inactive subscribers.

We may remove inactive newsletter subscribers after 2 years of inactivity.
